Jelleff’s was a chain of women’s clothing stores located in Washington, D.C. It’s founder, Frank R. Jelleff, opened his stores in 1910 and catered to the likes of Mrs. Calvin Coolidge, Eleanor Roosevelt, Mrs. Woodrow Wilson, and Mrs. Harry Truman. The stores closed in 1976 with the trend of suburban shopping malls. This is a collector’s must-have!
